WBX, or World Bet Exchange, is a person-to-person bet exchange, where punters can trade bets with each other on sporting, political and entertainment events.
Unlike traditional bookmakers, WBX’s members bet against each other, either a backing or laying a selection. WBX acts as a broker, taking a small commission from the winner of each bet.
Members deposited funds are ring-fenced in separate bank accounts, held within a separate company WBX Members Funds Limited that does not otherwise trade. These funds are held subject to a trust deed and are subject to independent verification by WBX's auditors on a quarterly basis.
Experts like Alan Potts, Eddie Fremantle, Richard Hoiles, John Hunt and Steve Smith Eccles, share their opinions, exclusively to WBX members.
Members can bet using their mobile phone, via a specially adapted version of the WBX site for all mobile devices equipped with internet browsers. This includes the Apple iPhone® and BlackBerry®.

WBX charge commission on net winnings in a market. You do not pay commission on net losses. Their Maximum Market Rates vary depending on the number of entrants in a market:
3 or less entrants = 3%
4 entrants = 4%
5 or more entrants = 5%
WBX apply a loyalty discount to the above commission rates., by betting with them you accumulate WBX points. The number of points you collect determines the level of your WBX loyalty discount. So the more you bet with WBX, the more points you'll accumulate and the lower the commission rate you'll pay on your winning bets.
