About Bath Racecourse
Bath is part of Arena Racing Company, which operates 16 racecourses across the UK. It is a versatile venue that's available all year round, for race days and other events such as weddings, conferences and meetings. Their web site includes details of horse racing fixtures, racecourse information, hospitality & entertainment, annual badges, sponsorship and a beginners guide to racing.
Bath holds 22 race meetings each year. In October 2015, the racecourse commenced a multi-million pound redevelopment. The race track underwent a new look, the parade ring was revamped and the Beckford bar opened. The new Langridge Grandstand opened in July 2016 and has various new facilities including a canopied roof garden from which races can be watched. It is also available as a venue between race days for corporate events, dinners and weddings.
The highlights of their racing calendar are the Lansdown Fillies' Stakes held in April and the Beckford Stakes held in October, which are both listed races.
