About Exeter Racecourse
Exeter racecourse is owned by The Jockey Club, the largest commercial group in British horse racing.
The web site includes a list of upcoming fixtures, dress code, directions and parking, racecourse map, spectator guide and places to stay around the area. It also includes details of venue hire for conferences & meetings, shows & exhibitions, weddings and private parties.
The highlight of their race calendar is the Haldon Gold Cup, which is a Grade 2 race held in November each year. The 2005 running of the race was marred by the death of Best Mate, the 3 times winner of the Cheltenham Gold Cup.
