About Market Rasen Racecourse
Market Rasen is a national hunt racecourse owned and run by The Jockey Club, the largest commercial group in British horse racing. They host jumps meetings throughout the year.

Right-handed oval of around 1 mile 2 furlongs, the ground is somewhat undulating and the bends are sharp. The hurdles course runs around the inside of the chase course. The hurdles course has 5 obstacles on each circuit (3 down the back straight and 2 in the home straight) with a 350 yards run in from the final hurdle. The chase course is slightly longer, with 7 fences on each circuit.
Going Racing at Market Rasen
Twelve miles north east of Lincoln, the racecourse is just off the A46, next to the A631. From the south, take the A1 to the A46. From the north, take the M62, M18 and M180 link to the A15 followed by the A631 at Caenby Corner.
From London Kings Cross, change at Newark for the Newark to Cleethorpes line. The station is a ten minute walk from the racecourse.
