About Newton Abbot Racecourse
Summer jumps race course providing 18 national hunt race meetings from the beginning of April through to mid October. In 2016 they celebrated 150 years of racing at Newton Abbot.

The highlight of their racing calendar is the Lord Mildmay Memorial Handicap Chase, which is a listed race over 2 miles 5½ furlongs at the end of August. They also have a meeting on Easter Sunday and their most glamorous fixture is a Ladies' Day, which provides an opportunity to get dressed up and enjoy an evening of summer jumps racing.

From the north Newton Abbot is served by the motorway network. The racecourse is well signposted from the M5, just a few miles away. Racegoers should follow the A380 towards Torquay after leaving the M5 at Junction 31.
Newton Abbot has its own railway station within a three quarters of a mile of the course, and its on the mainline from London Paddington.
