Shadwell Stud

Global racing and breeding enterprise for both Thoroughbred and Arabian horses, which encompasses Shadwell Estate in Britain; Shadwell Farm in the USA and Derrinstown Stud in Ireland.

Their Shadwell Estate is based in Norfolk and is the UK base for one of the best regarded bloodstock operations in the world.

Each year they breed and bring to racing a world class group of horses, in the renowned blue and white racing silks of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum. Under his guidance, the three studs have been responsible for the winners of more than 100 Group 1 races and producing the winners of 15 Classic races since 1987.

From their UK base, they stand top-class Group winning stallions; care for their private broodmare band and co-ordinate the racing of over 400 horses (both Thoroughbred and Arabian) across Europe.
